Esther Staubli becomes first female referee to officiate FIFA U-17 World Cup match

In accordance with FIFA’s target to further develop women’s football, another turning point has been accomplished as Esther Staubli turned out to be first female referee to administer a match at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. IIT Madras established World’s largest combustion research centre

The world’s biggest combustion examination centre which will confer a noteworthy lift to the Indian scientific community was introduced at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The National Center for Combustion Research and Development (NCCRD) was initiated by NITI Aayog part V K Saraswat within the sight of Prof Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology.

NCCRD’s research interests will cover car, thermal power and aviation impetus, other than fire research and micro gravity ignition to minor degree. Kavita Devi Becomes First Indian Woman To Join WWE

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has signed Kavita Devi WWE developmental contract. With this she has become first Indian Woman to join WWE. The announcement of KAvita Devi’s selection for the WWE was made by the Jinder Mahal who is current WWE heavyweight champion.

Earlier Kavita Devi, was part of the WWE’s Mae Young classic tournament She is a power-lifter and have won gold medal for India at 2016 South Asian Games. She is also the first Indian woman to compete in a WWE ring while she participated in the Mae Young Classic. Kavita Devi has also played Kabaddi during her high school days.

FIFA suspended Pakistan Football Federation

In a major decision FIFA has suspended Pakistan Football Federation with immediate effect as per the verdict of the Bureau of the FIFA Council on 10 October, 2017 due to interference of third party in PFF.

Reason:
As per the verdict of the Bureau of the FIFA Council, PFF was unable to stop third party interferance in the PFF as the Pakistan Football Federation was under the control of court appointed administrator.

Rajasthan becomes first Indian State to call motions online

Moving a step further towards digitization, Rajasthan becomes first Indian state to call attention, adjournment motions and proposals online to state government.

The system was inaugurated by Speaker Kailash Meghwal by sending a call for an attention motion to the state government with a click of mouse. The new system is expected to make working fast by saving time. It will also help in reducing the use of paper and will save the labour cost.
