Chandrababu Naidu Flagged off Solid Waste Management vehicles

Chief Minister of Andhra pradesh flagged off thirty Solid Waste Management vehicles on 11th October, 2017 with an aim to maintain the cleanliness in the state. Its a unique initiative of Andhra Pradesh government to achieve its Swach Andhra objective.

First Meeting of Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister (EAC-PM) Held in New Delhi

Newly constructed committee Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister (EAC-PM) conducted its first meeting in New Delhi with think tank NITI Ayog. The meeting was chaired by NITI Ayog member Dr. Bibey Debroy.

The meeting was mainly focused on stock of the current economic, fiscal and monetary policy environment.It identified the key issues on which focus in need to be done.
Major priorities were discussed to boost the economic growth and jobs in the next six months.


Gujarat set up 16 new Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) townships

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in a press conference at Gandhinagar announced to set up 16 new Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) townships in 2400 hectare area. The aim is to give boost to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

GIDC will attract township will attract 15,000 industrial units.New Garment and Apparel policy will be set up that will generate jobs and one Lakh people will get job opportunities.Under the policy 20,000 crore rupees will be invested.


LinkedIn – India second largest pharmaceuticals and biotechnology workforce globally

Professional networking giant LinkedIn has revealed in a report that India is the second largest pharmaceuticals and biotechnology workforce globally. The report stated that India has 13.7 per cent contribution to global pharmaceuticals and biotechnology workforce.


Gurbax Singh Sandhu got National Awards for senior citizens

Gurbax Singh Sandhu longest serving Boxing coach of India has been given National Awards for senior citizens. President Ram Nath Kovind presented the award to him. Sandhu was honoured with award at a function in New Delhi on Monday.

He has distinction of coaching for both men and women. Sandhu expressed his greatest thanks to president of India for honouring him with this prestigious award.
