India invests to Create Gas Infrastructure
In an effort to raise its share in Natural Gas in the Primary Energy mix, Government of India to invest 60 billion USD over the next four years. GOI has set a target to increase from 6.2% to 15% by 2030. This includes city gas distribution network, pipelines and LNG terminals.
Goa Liberation Day Celebrated on December 19, 2020
India celebrated Goa Liberation Day on 19 December, 2020. It was the day when Goa was freed from Portuguese rule. Portuguese ruled Goa for about 450 years. Back in December 18, 1961, India launched a 36-hour military operation named Operation Vijay. The All three forces jointly i.e Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy took part in Operation Vijay

RBI Imposed Huge fine on Urban Co-operative Bank in Kerala
A monetary penalty of Rs 50.00 lakh has been imposed by RBI on Kerala’s The Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd. The reason was non-compliance with directions released by RBI on Income Recognition and Asset Classification (IRAC) norms and on Management of Advances-UCBs.

Union Commerce Ministry Approved Mega leather park in Ramaipur village of Kanpur
A mega leather park is to be constructed at Ramaipur village of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh state. Around Rs. 5,580 will be invested for this mega leather project. The project is also important from employment generation view point. As per details it will create 50,000 direct jobs and 1.5 lakhs indirect employment for people.
