Delhi Government new School Bag Policy

Government of Delhi comes up with new school bag policy for children. As per new policies weight of school bags and number of books to be carried by students are decided.

Delhi School Bag Policy main guidelines:

  • Weight of school bags of students from class 1 to 10 must not be more than 10% of their total body weight.
  • Proper timetable should be maintained by school to ensure that students should bring minimum required books to the school.
  • One notebook per subject for class 3 and higher class students.
  • One notebook for all subjects for students of class 1 and 2.

World Bank Approved Loan to West Bengal

Indian World Bank approved $105 million loan for west Bengal. The loan is provided to improve waterways in the state.

Madhya Pradesh Launch Pad Scheme

Government of Madhya Pradesh launched new launch pad scheme in the state.

About the scheme:

  • The scheme is launched for childcare institute’s children (Boys and Girls) who reach 18 years of age.
  • The scheme is to make them self reliant or atamnirbhar.

Natural gas pipeline project inaugurated by PM Modi

Prime Minister inaugurated Kochi-Mangaluru Natural Gas Pipeline Project. The project is completed by GAIL India. The pipeline has 450 km length. It will supply natural gas to Kochi, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod districts to Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka.

Central Vista Project Approved by Supreme Court

Apex court of India (Supreme Court) gave approval to Central Vista Project.

About:

Project is about Renovation of 86 acres land Lutyens Garden  in Delhi.

Cover historical buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament, India Gate and North and South Block. New building of parliament will be constructed and other landmark structures will also be renovated.
