Sandeep Lamichhane Becomes First Nepali Player to Get IPL Contract

Sandeep Lamichhane from Nepal has become the first Nepali cricketer to have signed a contract in IPL 2018. He was selected by Delhi Daredevils for his base price of Rs. 20 Lakh. Sandeep Lamichhane is a leg spinner who became famous after in 2016 U-19 World Cup where he guided Nepal team to the eighth place in the mega cricket tournament. He became second highest wicket taker in 2016 U-19 World Cup.


Asia’s biggest auto testing track inaugurated in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh

India has established Asia’s biggest auto testing track in Pithampur of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh State. International Bird Festival To Be Held In Dudhwa National Park

International Bird Festival is going to be held in India at Dudhwa National Park, Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh in next month. The event is expected to be attended by approximately 200 leading ornithologists. The aim will be to promote eco-tourism in Dudhwa and to make it recognizable at international level by presenting its arts, culture, and heritage at the event.


Asha Bhosle To be Honoured With Yash Chopra memorial award

Famous Bollywood playback singer Asha Bhosle will be honoured with Yash Chopra Memorial award on 16 Feb, 2018. She is the fifth recipient of the award after Lata Mangeshkar, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, and King khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. The award will be given to Asha G on February 16, 2018. The awards is given annually in the memory of late producer and director Yash Chopra.
