Indu Bhushan appointed as CEO Of Ayushman Bharat Mission

Government has appointed Indu Bhushan as new CEO of center’s ambitious Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Mission (ABNHPM). Indu will be on the post for a term of two years. Bhushan is also the Director General of East Asia Department, Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, Philippines.


Union Government Allowed Export Of 2 Million Tonnes Of Sugar

Union Government has permitted to export 2 Million Tonnes Of Sugar for the end of 2017-18 marketing year. The initiative has been taken to reduce the excessive stocks of sugar in the country. It is done also to increase cash flows to the millers so that payments to sugarcane farmers could be made on time. Duty-Free Import Authorisation (DFIA) scheme has also been introduced under which white sugar can be exported without free of duty.

Rajasthan First mega food park Inaugurated by Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal

Union Food Minister Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal on last Thursday inaugurated Greentech Mega Food Park Private Ltd, at Roopangarh Village in Ajmer district. This is also Rajasthan’s first mega food park. It is set up at a cost of Rs. 113.57 crore.

It is Spread over 85.44 acres. The food park will benefit approximate 25,000 farmers. It will be having a central processing centre, four Primary Processing Centres (PPCs) in cities Jaipur, Nagaur, Tonk and Churu.


RBI to Release Rs. 350 Coin on Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Birth Aniversary

Reserve Bank of India will be issuing Rs. 350 coins to mark 350th birth aniversary of tenth guru of Sikhs Shri Guru Gobind Singh JI. These will be limited edition coins.

Circumference: 44 mm
Weight: 35.65gm to 35.35 gm
Build material: Silver, Copper, Nickel and Zinc
Front Face: Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in cente, Satyamev Jayate Inscribed below.

RBI Fined ICICI Bank for Rs. 58.9 Crore

Reserve Bank of India has imposed a fine of Rs. 58.9 Crores on ICICI Bank for founding failure in following guidelines of “Held to Maturity”. According to rules, it is compulsory for banks to invest some certain part of their deposits in government bonds. This is the highest ever penalty imposed by RBI on any bank for single incident.
