Professional networking giant LinkedIn has revealed in a report that India is the second largest pharmaceuticals and biotechnology workforce globally. The report stated that India has 13.7 per cent contribution to global pharmaceuticals and biotechnology workforce.

Main Highlights of the report:

New Delhi, Kolkata and Chandigarh are three major areas of the country where majority of talent exists in pharma sector.

The talent migration is highest to US. Near about 48% talent is from USA is migrating to India whereas 36 per cent is migrating from India to US.

Talent relocating to different nations fundamentally include researchers, scientists, quality assurance professionals, statistics programmers and data analysts.

Talent coming to India incorporate experts hailing from sales took after by quality assurance and research.

The pharma and biotech experts contemplated in this report were chosen in light of LinkedIn’s 500+ million-users information as of September 2017. All major talent companies were analyzed for better understanding of talent pool engagement patterns.
