HDFC Bank Rajasthan Govt. Partnership To Promote Startup Culture In State

HDFC Bank Rajasthan Govt partnership : HDFC Bank and state government of Rajasthan have partnered with each other for the promotion and nurturing startups in the state. HDFC bank also plans to assist startups in showcasing their offerings to the general public through its various platforms. The MoU for partnership was signed between Akhil Arora (principal Secretary of IT and Communication, Rajasthan) on behalf of Rajasthan government and Smita Bhagat in the presence of Zonal Head of HDFC Bank Mr Satyen Modi.

As per the HDFC Bank Rajasthan Govt. Partnership, bank will provide end to end solutions such as current accounts, credit cards and other solutions to startups under its SmartUp programme.

This partnership between HDFC bank and Rajasthan Govt will be very helpful for Start-ups in the state and will encourage the businesses to grow in initial stages.

About HDFC’s Initiatives To Help Startups

HDFC has been working across the country to create an helping ecosystem for startups. In October 2017, HDFC bank had also announced to launch of dedicated SmartUp Zones in all major branches of the bank. These will be established within the major HDFC branches to deal with all activities and interests of startups.

As per the HDFC, currently the bank has been working with more than 150 startups across the country and is growing. In future bank has plans to extend its support to startups by launching SmartUp Zones in 65 more of its branches across 30 cities which will also include tier II and tier III cities.
