Khelo India anthem Launched by Rajyavardhan Rathore
Sports Minister of India Rajyavardhan Rathore launched Khelo India anthem at a ceremony held in Delhi. The lyrics of song are “Aur khelna chahte hain hum…Khel mein hi masti hai….khel se abaad honge hum”.
“Khelo India” is an initiative of union ministry which will be launched on 31 January, 2018. Its aim is to scout for talent at the grassroots and provide it substantial long-term scholarship.

Indo-US joint military exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ to be held in Seattle
For a better cooperation between Indian army and US soldiers, a joint military exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ will be held in the third month of January at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Seattle. India will send a 45 member Special Forces team from Indian Army’s Southern Command to get trained along with US soldiers.

Air India Gives reservation for women in seats
India’s largest public sector aviation company Air India has given women a gift in new year 2018 by giving reservation for women in flight seats. Iran Lifts Restrictions On Messaging App Telegram and Internet Use in country
Iran government has lifted the ban applied on messaging app Telegram as well as on use of internet in the country. The services were resumed on Saturday as per the information.
The Telegram messaging app is widely used in Iran with more than 40 million users in the country. The app allows users to send encrypted messages. The ban was imposed on the messaging app and internet due to the protests that were happening in Iran. But the decision impacted the economy of the Iran also, so the government took decision to remove the ban over internet and Messaging App Telegram.
