Jodhpur Railway Station Number One in Cleanliness
Indian Railway minister Piyush Goyal released the department’s third cleanliness survey. The survey is done to rank Indian railways based on their hygiene and cleanliness. It is Jodhpur Railway Station of Rajasthan ranked number one in the latest survey done by Railways. The station is at number one position under A1 category. This is not finished yet, the station has also begged second place in the same category(A1).
The continuous efforts of North Western Railway (NWR) have paid off them. The NWR has been working hard to maintain cleanliness at its railway stations in the country. According to cleanliness survey, North Western Railway’s total 8 stations featured among. Out of eight two were placed under A1 category (Jodhpur, Jaipur). While rest 6 were got place in top 10 under A category. This is a great achievement by NWR and a big encouragement.
Who conducted Indian Railway cleanliness survey?
The survey was conducted by Quality Council of India (QCI). The firm had taken 407 bigger railway stations of India to conduct the survey. Out of 407, 75 A1 category stations and 332 A class stations were added.
The Jodhpur and Jaipur stations (Positioned at first and second place respectively) have show a appericialbe performance as compared to their rank in last 2017 survey. Jodhpur and Jaipur railway stations were at 17th and 8th positions respectively in 2017. Coming to first and second spot in just one year is a remarkable achievement. This will surely encourage other railway zones to speed up their efforts to get placed in top cleanest railway stations of India.
