Union Government Signs $250 Million Loan Agreement With ADB

Asian Development Bank has allotted a loan of 250 million dollar loan to India for 6 thousand 2 hundred kilometers all-weather rural roads construction in India. The loan agreement in this regard was signed between Union Government and ADB Bank. The construction will be done under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in five states Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.

The objective of the programme is to make better connectivity in rural areas of India.
