India’s startup Milkbasket has been recognised as ‘Startup Of The Year’ 2017 at 7th Small Business Awards held at New Delhi. India Will Host World Environment Day on June 5

Despite of being poor performance in global Environmental Performance Index, India Will Host World Environment Day on June 5. The announcement of India hosting World Environment Day was made by United Nations Under-Secretary General and head of UN Environment, Erik Solheim jointly with India’s minister Harsh Vardhan (Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change).

As we all know that plastic is one of the biggest environment related issues that whole world is facing today, that is why the theme of world environment day is based on plastic. The theme name is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.

As per the theme, it urges governments, industry, communities and individuals to come together for the finding alternative solutions of plastic and to reduce use of single-use plastic. The plastic that is used only once is the main cause of pollution on earth in places like oceans, damaging marine life and threatening human health.


Health Minister Addresses Global Digital Health Partnership Summit In Australia

Mr. J P Nadda, Indian Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mr. J P Nadda addressed the Global Digital Health Partnership Summit held at Australia’s Canberra. Speaking on the occassion Union Health Minister spoke on Making Digital Health Services a Priority in Healthcare Reform. He stated India’s initiatives of making health services digital in India by saying that India is committed to reforms in health service delivery using ICT under Digital India Program of Government of India.


Palace Queen Humsafar Express train Flagged off by Narendra Modi

Aiming to boost tourism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express train at the Mysuru railway station on Monday. The train will run from Mysuru to Udaipur in Rajasthan. PM also dedicated 140 Km long railway line starting from Mysuru to KSR Bengaluru. The whole line is electrified and thus will be helping railways in achieving energy-efficient transportation.
