India Will Host 2021 Champions Trophy, 2023 World Cup

The country to host 2023 World cup and Champions trophy in 2021 has been decided and its India that will be hosting the two major cricket tournaments in the respective years. The upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 will be hosted by England and Wales.

The entire event will be held in India for the first time. Earlier India has hosted World cup events in jointly with other countries in years 1987, 1996 and 2011.


Australia Beats Argentina to win Gold at Hockey World League Final

Australia has won the Gold medal in Hockey World League Final by defeating Argentina by 2-1 score at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Earlier Argentina had entered into finals by beating India. India’s medal winning hopes were limited to bronze medal after the defeat in the semifinals from Argentina.


Saurabh Chaudhary Qualifies for Youth Olympics Games

India’s Saurabh Chaudhary has won the gold medal at the ongoing Asia Youth Olympics Games qualification tournament in Wako City, Japan. With this he has cleared the qualifications for the Youth Olympics Games. He made a junior world record in 10m air pistol at the qualifier event. Saurabh is the third Indian to bag quota places for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games at the 10th Asian Airgun Championship.


Union Government targets to laying over 40 km of roads every day in 2018

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced government’s future plans regarding the road constructions in India while addressing ASEAN-INDIA connectivity summit in New Delhi. He announced that government will increase its road construction capabilities and will construct 40 Kilo Metres of road every day in the country by next year that is in 2018.


India at Asian Airgun Shooting Championships bagged 21 medals including six gold

Indian at Asian Airgun Shooting Championships held at Japan has bagged 21 medals. The 21 medals include 6 gold medals, eight silver and seven bronze medals. On last day of games India bagged 4 medals to make it to 21.

Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra tops in highest number of cyber-crimes

Uttar Pradesh is India’s top city with highest number of “Cyber Crimes” in India as per the latest cyber crimes data released by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). UP is followed by Maharashtra. As per the reports, Uttar Pradesh has 2,639 cases in 2016. whereas 2,380 cases were recorded in Maharashtra during same year.
