Health Assurance scheme For Poor and Disabled People Launched In Manipur

CM of Manipur N Biren has launched a health assurance scheme for the well being of poor and disabled people in Manipur. The name of scheme launched is Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT). As per the CMHT schemes poor people will be able to get free treatment at govt hospitals, health centers and also on selected private hospitals. The scheme covers an insurance of Rs. 2 lakhs per family.


First Garbage Festival of India ‘Kachra Mahotsav’ Organized in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh has organized First Garbage Festival of India in Raipur city which ended on last Sunday. The “Kachra Mahotsav” was organized by the Raipur Municipal Corporation. The purpose of the Garbage Festival was to spread awareness about the reuse of things which are declared as garbage.


Weather Advisory System Launched by Maharashtra for Farmers

Government of Maharashtra has launched a Weather Advisory System for farmers to help them to minimise their crops losses due to weather problems. The new system will soon be installed district wise in all over Maharashtra. The system is so capable that it can generate weather alerts for every ten minutes. Government of Maharashtra has set weather stations at 2,050 sites across Maharashtra already and these stations have started data collection.


India Ranked 62nd on WEF’s Inclusive Development Index

India has continued to be ranked at lower positions in the latest WEF Inclusive Development Index at 62nd place out of 74. The position of India is very lower as compared to its neighbouring countries Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal.


Mumbai Will Soon get 40 electronic busses announcement by CM Fadnavis

In order to tackle the air pollution problem, CM Fadnavis has decided to introduce 40 electronic busses soon in film city of India Mumbai. The approval has been given by CM of Maharashtra. The concept was introduced by three member who have been working under CM Fellowship program. The members are Armaan Jain, Murtuza Kotwala and Shyaam Dyate.

The tender to buy these electronic busses has been issued by BEST so that the idea could be put into action as soon as possible.


Sudeep Lakhtakia appointed New Director General of NSG

Senior IPS officer of 1984-batch of Telangana Crade Mr Sudeep Lakhtakia has been appointed as new Director General of NSG (National Security Guard). An order of his appoinment as DG of NSG is approved by Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) lead by PM Modi. Lakhtakia will be succeeding retired SP Singh, as Singh is getting retired from the office on last day of this January i.e 31st Jan.

PM Modi Leaves for Davos to Attend World Economic Forum

Indian PM Narendra Modi has left for Davos, Switzerland to attend the 48th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. The meeting will be held on January 26, 2018. Along with PM Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu others have also been included in this largest-ever Indian delegation that is going to attend WEF 48th meeting at Davos.
