2017 Best FIFA Men’s Player award Nominies

Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar are three top nominees for this year’s best FIFA men’s player 2017 award race. There are total 24 men to be competing for this award but these three are at the top.

Christino Ronaldo if selected the winner then he will receive this award for the second year as he is also last year’s Best FIFA Men’s Player award winner. Cristiano Ronaldo is also the favourite this year and his chances are more than Messi and Neymar. The reason is the performance of Ronaldo. He helped Real Madrid to win third Champions League crown in four seasons and a first La Liga title in five years, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup. The awards will be distributed in a Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony to be held on 23 October 2017 at London.

The award is given for a period of Nov. 20, 2016, to July 2, 2017. The players are selected through voting system. Generally national team coaches, captains, selected media and fans take part in voting.

Best FIFA Goalkeeper nominees are Juventus’ Gianluigi Buffon, Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas and Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane,Juventus’ Massimiliano Allegri and Chelsea’s Antonio Conte are the three top names to be shortlisted for Best FIFA Men’s Coach. Out of these three Zinedine Zidane has more chances to be declared as winner of Best FIFA Men’s Coach.

For Best FIFA Women’s Player award, current winner of this award United States midfielder Carli Lloyd’s name is shortlisted along with Venezuela’s Deyna Castellanos and Netherlands’ Lieke Martens. Best FIFA Women’s Coach nominies are Denmark’s Nils Nielsen, France’s Gerard Precheur and Netherlands’ Sarina Wiegman.
