The Reserve bank (RBI) announced signing of an MOU on Thursday with the Bank of Guyana.
The purpose is to establish Supervisory Cooperation and Supervisory Information exchange.
The MOU was signed between RBI Governor Dr Urjit R. Patel and Dr Gobind N. Ganga, Governor on behalf of Bank of Guyana.
Earlier, 40 such MoUs, one Letter for Supervisory Co-operation and one Statement of Co-operation had been signed by RBI.
