Manushi Chhillar wins Miss World, India level with Venezuela after 6th crown

Twenty Years old Manushi Chhillar from Haryana made India proud at world level as she became Miss World 2017 at a glitzy event in a Chinese resort on Saturday. With this India levels with Venezuela in terms of most number of Miss World winners by any country. Now both India and Venezuela has 6 Miss World Titles to their names.

Chhillar won this beauty beauty pageant after a gap of 17 years. Last time it was back in 2000 when Priyanka Chopra was crowned as Miss World from India. Stephanie Hill of England and Andrea Meza of Mexico finished as runners-up.

About Manushi Chhillar:

Manushi is a medical student and is basically from Haryana state. She is a trained Indian classical dancer and also like painting and willing to open a chain of non-profit hospitals for rural area people.

All Indian winner of Miss World pageant

Earlier five Indian women have won this crown for India. Reita Faria was the first Indian to win Miss world crown followed by Aishwarya who bagged the title in 1994, Diana Haydon in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1999 and Priyanka in 2000.
