Indian Railway to revamp Premium trains Shtabdi and Rajdhani express

Indian railway has decided to give new look to its premium trains like Shtabdi and Rajdhani express. The operation is named as operation Swarn (“Gold”). Under the operation all the facilities, services and infrastructure of the trains will be changed.

These trains were started by the railways as premium trains to those passengers who can afford the luxurious facilities. But, with the passage of time the services and facilities gone down to a worst level. The trains are continuously performing bad in all aspects such as food quality, cleanliness and arrival timings. This is why railway ministry decided to give new look to these premium trains.

As per the reports, in the first phase trains like Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani Express and Mumbai-Ahmadabad Shatabdi Express will be revamped starting from September 26.

The railway has taken this move after complaints of the passenger kept on increasing regarding the facilities provided in these trains.

In our opinion when you are paying for something, you must get the mentioned facilities. But unfortunately in India, things doesn’t change most of the time until people complaint.
