Haryana’s Anisa made new Shooting national record by winning women’s 25m pistol

Haryana based Indian Shooter Anisa Sayyed has made new Shooting national record by winning the gold medal in women’s 25m pistol competition at 61st National Shooting Championship Competitions (61st NSCC) going on at Trivandrum. Anisa scored 33 to register win over Maharashtra duo of Shital Shivaji Thorat and Rahi Sarnobat. This is also a new national record in shooting by Anisa.

The other two competitors Shital Shivaji Thorat and Rahi Sarnobat won silver and bronze medals respectively at the National Games Shooting Range. Shital shot 30 in the eight-woman final whereas Rahi finished third with a score of 28.

Another shooter from Haryana, Chinki Yadav won gold in women’s 25m junior pistol match making a national record by the score of 31. Manu Bhaker was another pic of the day as she swepted the women’s 10m pistol events and the junior mixed team air pistol gold for a total of nine gold medals in the last weekend. She won junior team and junior team civilian 25m women’s pistol events.
