First Garbage Festival of India ‘Kachra Mahotsav’ Organized in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh has organized First Garbage Festival of India in Raipur city which ended on last Sunday. The “Kachra Mahotsav” was organized by the Raipur Municipal Corporation. The purpose of the Garbage Festival was to spread awareness about the reuse of things which are declared as garbage.

The festival was all about using the waste generated in the city to create many creative things and to reuse the garbaged material with the help of multiple techniques.

It was a three days festival that showed workshops, talks, performances and also some interesting installations.
