Delhi Became Second state to start e-RTI

Delhi became the second state to start e-RTI for the citizens. The service was started by Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal on 10 July, 2017. Now the people can apply online for any information they require. Total 172 government departments have been covered in this online platform. Delhi government had already started to train their Public information officer (PIO) in start of 2016 and now they all are ready to provide this online service.

This new online portal will allow users to fill online requests for information they want to know, to pay online fee for any documents using net banking.

Here is the procedure:

First of all user needs to fill the request and need to pay fee for any document in case if the document is not free and then will get the status of the request through email or via SMS.

User can also upload documents. The website is available in both Hindi and English languages.
