Tamil Nadu Chief Minister laid foundation stone of 245 acres aerospace park at Kanchipuram

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edapaddi K Palanswami on 25/10/2017 laid the foundation stone of 245 acres aerospace park at Kanchipuram district. The aerospace park is to be set up at a cost of approximately Rs. 198 crore by the State Government.


Singapore passport is the world’s most powerful, India ranks 75th

In latest Passport Index named Global Passport Power Rank 2017, India was ranked at 75th place while Singapore got top place. This is for the first that the most powerful passport ranking has been toped by an Asian country.

The ranking was released by Arton Capital. Singapore is followed by Germany at second place and Sweden and South Korea at third place. It is Singapore’s inclusive diplomatic relations and effective foreign policy that has helped the country to gain the top position for the first time in the latest Passport Index……..More Details

Indian Origin Couple Bags Top US Award for HIV/AIDS Research

Indian origin couple Salim Abdool Karim and Quarraisha Abdool Karim were honoured with US Award for HIV/AIDS Research by the Institute of Human Virology (IHV) in Baltimore, US for their valuable contribution for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. Both have also been doing special research for searching innovative ways that could help prevention of HIV among women.

Virat Kohli Surpassed Lionel Messi in Forbes list by $1 million

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli has been creating new records and now Kohli surpassed Lionel Messi in terms of earning as per the latest list of most valuable sportspersons released by Forbes on Wednesday. In the list Virat Kohli was placed at seventh(7) place ahead of football icon Lionel Messi who is at 9th place. Kohli is ahead of Messi by a margin og $1 million and golf superstar Rory McIlory by 0.9 million. Kohli is the only cricketer to get a place in top 10.
