Maharashtra govt to set up village climate resilient committees

The Maharashtra government to put focus on climate resilience is going to set up committees in more than 5,000 villages of 15 districts in the state.

Village Climate Resilient Agriculture Management Committees (VCRMCs) will be set up which will be cost Rs 4,000 crore as per a Government Resolution under the Nanaji Deshmukh Krushi Sanjivanee Project. The World Bank will provide funding for the project.

Bandhan Express Train to Bangladesh flagged off by Modi, Sheikh Hasina, Mamata

In a bid to strengthened relations between two countries, a new passenger train has been flagged of between India and Bangladesh named as Kolkata-Dhaka passenger train by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh hasina and West bengal Chief Minister Mamta Benarji. All three personalities were connected through video conferencing for inaugurating new train between the countries.
