World’s First 3D Sanskrit Film Anurakthi

International Film Festival of India happened in Panaji in Goa and Sanskrit Film named as Anurakthi was the main center of attraction of the international film festival. The reason was that Anurakthi is world’s First 3D Sanskrit Film. Anurakthi movie is directed by Asokan PK. It revolves around the traditional art form of Kerala, Koodiyattam.


China will Host Seventh World Military Games at Wuhan

Wuhan city of China will be hosting Seventh World Military Games. This is one of the top sports event for military personnel. There are total 329 competitions in 27 different categories that will be organized. It is expected that the event will attract more than 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries and regions of the world.


Two-day Korea Tourism Festival 2017 opens in Haryana

Korea’s rich art, culture and heritage showing two days festival has been inaugurated by Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) Executive Vice President Min Hong Min and joint Secretary in the Ministry Of Tourism Suman Billa at Haryana’s Ambience Mall.

Alongwith the event, MoU was also signed between reputed Korean companies such as LG, Hyundai, Samsung and KTO in the field of tourism with an aim to provide support to tourism by organising MICE groups to Korea for their employees and dealers.


BillDesk Introduces cryptocurrency exchange Coinome in India

BillDesk-owned Horatio Innovations has launched cryptocurrency exchange ‘Coinome’ in India. It will be offering trade of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. The Coinome wil allow users to register using his/her Aadhaar number via an instant e-KYC process. Coinome is different from many cryptocurrency exchanges because it is an open order book cryptocurrency exchange thus makes direct deals between buyers and sellers possible just like conventional stocks and commodities exchanges.


Serene Valtteri Bottas Wins Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Valtteri Bottas has won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from pole position at the race took place at Yas Marina Cicuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He has defeated his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton as Formula One’s season finale petered out into a procession. This is the third win of Valtteri Bottas’s F1 career and 22nd career podium and 13th with Mercedes. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel remained at third spot in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.


Trump Tower Launched in Kolkata

The iconic Trump Tower comprising 140 ultra-luxury apartments with starting price is Rs 3.75 crore for a 2,500 sq ft size flat has been launched in Kolkata. It is expected to garner around Rs 700 crore in sales from this project. About 50% of the units have already been sold by Realty firms Unimark Group, RDB Group and Tribeca Developers after the pre launch of the project in mid-October.

This is overall third Trump Tower in India with already having two in Pune partnering Panchshil Realty and one in partnership with Lodha group in Mumbai.


Health Ministry Wins Bronze Medal at the India International Trade Fair 2017

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has been given Bronze Medal at 37th India International Trade Fair 2017 organized at at Pragati Maidan Delhi for its innovative and informational display. The medal was given by Shri C R Chaudhary – Minister of State (Commerce and Industry) to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Following were some major programmes and initiatives highlighted by Health Ministry at India International Trade Fair 2017:

  • Mission Indradhnaush for expanding full immunization coverage
    introduction of new vaccines,
  • Pradhan Mantri Matritva Suraksha Yojana (PMSMA),
  • Mother’s Absolute Affection (MAA) for encouraging breastfeeding,
  • Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) for strengthening the tertiary health sector.

India and Greece sign Air Services Agreement

India and Greece have came up with an Air Services Agreement (ASA) and MoU on Cooperation (MoC) in the field of New and Renewable Energy. The agreements were signed after hi level bilateral talks between Sushma Swaraj(External Affairs Minister of India) and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Kotzias in New Delhi.

The ASA agreement is important in deciding that how many flights can fly between the two countries signing such agreements.


Union Government launches program to Train 25,000 women by March 2018

To give a major push to women empowerment, Women and Child Development Ministry has launched an intensive programme to train women from each district by March 2018. About 25,000 women will be selected under the scheme.
