BWF Para-Badminton World Championships – India Won 10 medals

BWF Para-Badminton World Championships are going on and India has been performing great as Indian players have clinched 10 medals including two gold medals. First gold medal was won by India’s Parul Parmar who defeated Thailand’s Wannaphatdee Kamtam 21-8 21-17 in the finals of the women’s singles Standing Lower (SL3).

It was dual celebration for India in Kabaddi as both Men and women Kabaddi teams of India won Asian Kabaddi Championships 2017 in championships held at Gorgan, Iran. Indian Men Kabaddi team beat Pakistan kabaddi team with a margin of 36-22 whereas women kabaddi team of India beat South Korea 42-20 in their final.

Odisha launches Rs 96-cr Fish Pond Yojna to Increase Fish Production

Odisha government introduced a Fish Pond Yojana scheme scheme to increase the production of fish in the state. The scheme with a budgetary outlay of Rs 96 crore was launched by CM Naveen Patnaik who was at the inauguration ceremony of a workshop that will work for doubling of Farmer Income through Dairy and Allied Farming Practices here.
