India, Afghanistan launch second air cargo route by linking Kabul with Mumbai

Mumbai has received first cargo of fruit from Kabul after the second air corridor between Afghanistan and India, Kabul-New Delhi was opened. The first fruit cargo was send from Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. This air connectivity between India and Kabul will be very helpful for Afghan businessmen to leverage India’s economic growth and trade networks for its benefit.


Haryana’s Anisa made new Shooting national record by winning women’s 25m pistol

Haryana based Indian Shooter Anisa Sayyed has made new Shooting national record by winning the gold medal in women’s 25m pistol competition at 61st National Shooting Championship Competitions (61st NSCC) going on at Trivandrum. Anisa scored 33 to register win over Maharashtra duo of Shital Shivaji Thorat and Rahi Sarnobat. This is also a new national record in shooting by Anisa.


IPS officer Abhay appointed Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau

Senior IPS officer Abhay has been appointed as Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) by the appointment committee of cabinet. Abhay will remain DG of NCB till November 18, 2019 as per the order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). The post of Director General of NCB was vacant from April 2017 when the earlier NCB DG, R R Bhatnagar had took the charge of DG of CRPF. Abhay is currently workinn in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
