Chhattisgarh smartphone distribution scheme Launched by Chief Minister Raman Singh

Chief Minister of Mr. Raman Singh launched a Chhattisgarh smartphone distribution scheme in the state. The scheme named as ‘Mobile Tihar’ was launched jointly by CM and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday 30th July, 2018. It has been a part of the government initiative named Sanchar Kranti Yojna (SKY).

Who will get smartphones under Mobile Tihar?

The Chhattisgarh smartphone distribution scheme will cover women and students of the state. It is expected to benefit approximate 50 lakh people. The idea is clear that more and more connectivity will be established among women and students. Government has also planned to install 556 more towers in the Chhattisgarh to ensure higher connectivity.

Speaking on the occasion, CM shown his happiness about launching such connectivity scheme. He said that in near future people will call the state as “Smart Chhattisgarh”. Adding further he said that in near future labour class of the villages in state will also have 4g connectivity.

What is sanchar kranti yojna chhattisgarh?

This is the initiative taken by government to connect all its people through smartphones. People will be able to connect to Digital world with the help of scheme. State government will provide free smartphones under the scheme to poor people of the state. The government of Chhattisgarh has an aim to complete the scheme till March 2019.
