The State Selection Board of Assam Police had invited online applications for recruitment of constables (sipahi). The number of applicants who filled form are huge. Written Exam Details

Assam Police Selection Process
A Physical Standards test is compulsory for all applicants. During the test candidates are checked under various parameters such as knock knee check, flat foot or squint eyes, and color blindness test. Apart from that the person must have good mental and physical health. They should not have any kind of defect which in future could effect their performance while doing duties. For eyesight test, 6/6 should be the least vision. Without glasses it should be 6/9.

Assam Police Result Special Cases
Sometimes there is tie among the marks of two or more candidates. This scenario makes it difficult for selection of candidate. A special age rule is applicable in these cases. Means a candidate who is older in age will be selected against the one with lesser age. There is no particular fact about it. Physical Standard Test (After Document verification)
