India’s largest public sector aviation company Air India has given women a gift in new year 2018 by giving reservation for women in flight seats. The women reservation will be available in all domestic flights services of Air India. With this Air India has become India’s first airline company to provide reservation for women in flights.
The information regarding this new facility for women in Air India flights was announced by the department through the tweet. In the tweet company mentioned, “Honoring the women who brought us into this world. Special respect to women on our behalf Air India is booking a full line for all women at an economy class at no extra charge. This is for women who are travelling alone or with their young children. ”
Women can avail this facility by contacting counter of the airline or can also consult to booking officer at the airport before 90 minutes of flight. Currently this facility of women reservation is available in domestic flights only not for international flights.
In recent times the Air India airlines has been struggling to manage things such as financial losses occurred by it. Numerous committees have been formed which are working on how to get things back on track.
